Roof Replacement Project - Funds Awarded: $2,404,685

ARRA Formula Grant funds were awarded to CMHA to replace roofs at several properties. Roofs can be difficult and costly to replace, particularly when the buildings are fully occupied. Because of the cost associated with fully replacing roofs, CMHA struggled to keep up with scheduled replacement. By using ARRA Formula grant funds, CMHA was able, not only to catch up with scheduled roof replacement, but become ahead of schedule. Through the ARRA Roof Replacement Project, roofs at Wade Park, Scranton Castle, West Blvd, Springbrook Apartments, 17 roofs at Outhwaite Homes, and 10 roofs at Olde Cedar Homes were replaced.
