 EPC Resident Employment
 At
CMHA, it is our goal to provide our residents
employment opportunities with the contractors
who are doing work at our properties. We set that employment
goal as 25% of the total hours worked by all workers on a contract.
The Energy Performance Contract (EPC), through the fine cooperation
of its contractors, has exceeded that goal. For the EPC construction
phase which ended in April 2008, CMHA resident
workers logged 28% of the total project hours
worked.
Over 85 resident workers, from 24 different CMHA properties, were
employed through the EPC.
