Minority and Female Business Program
The Board of Commissioners of the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) formally adopted the Small, Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Program at its meeting on December 7, 1994.
This Program addresses the special needs of small disadvantaged businesses such as, identifying contracting and purchasing opportunities, identifying financial resources, providing management support, technical assistance and general information. The program also implements a Minority (MBE) and Female (FBE) Business Enterprise certification process, which is conducted by the CMHA SDB Program staff.
CMHA maintains an updated list of certified MBEs and FBEs of new and existing contractors and vendors.
