Proposed Changes to the HCV Administrative Plan FY2022

In accordance with HUD regulations, the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) has proposed amendments to its Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Administrative Plan for 2022. The HCV Administrative Plan sets forth CMHA’s policies for the operation of the Housing Choice Voucher Program in the context of federal laws and regulations.
This announcement initiates a 45-day review period that concludes with the Public Hearing. Under consideration are proposed changes to the 2022 Administrative Plan that permit CMHA to establish a housing preference for up to 25 individuals or families participating in The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) Transitional Housing Program as administered by Cleveland Rape Crisis Center (CRCC) and Emerald Development Economic Network (EDEN) in need of permanent housing upon expiration of short term assistance.
The proposed changes are available for review at the CMHA Executive Office located at 8120 Kinsman Road, Cleveland, Ohio from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, May 9, 2022, and can also be viewed on the CMHA website at www.cmha.net.
Comments can be submitted prior to, but are welcome at the Public Hearing to be conducted by the CMHA Board of Commissioners on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 4 p.m. in the CMHA Board Room located at 8120 Kinsman Road, Cleveland, Ohio. The public is invited.
