In accordance with HUD regulations, the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) is announcing a Public Hearing on July 31, 2013 to consider amendments to the CMHA 2013 Public Housing Agency (PHA) Plan. CMHA is seeking comments for the following proposed amendments to the following sections of the 2013 PHA Plan:
7.0 a. Under Choice Neighborhoods, CMHA will include Olde Cedar as part of the Choice Implementation Grant application.
7.0 b. Under Demolition and/or Disposition, CMHA will add the demolition of a scattered site house at 1720 Clover, and the disposition of excess land at Outhwaite and a vacant lot on Beyerle.
7.0 c. Under Conversion of Public Housing, CMHA will add the conversion of three additional properties from Public Housing to Project Based Rental Assistance at Riverside Park, a west side cluster of scattered sites, and Carver Park.
8.0 Under Capital Improvements, CMHA will add the financial impact of the converted RAD properties on the Capital Fund and Capital Fund Financing Program.

In accordance with HUD regulations, the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) has developed its Public Housing Agency (PHA) Plan and Capital Fund Program (CFP) Plan for 2018. Through these plans, which consist of an annual plan for 2017 and a five-year plan for 2018-2022, CMHA is advising its residents, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and members of the public of its mission, strategies, and policies for serving the needs of low-income families throughout Cuyahoga County.
This announcement initiates a 45-day review period that concludes with the Public Hearing. Under consideration are proposed changes to the 2017 PHA Plan, which also includes proposed revisions to the Public Housing Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy and the Housing Choice Voucher Program Administrative Plan, and the proposed 2018 CFP Plan and budget.
The PHA and CFP plans, and supporting documents, are available for review at the CMHA Executive Office located at 8120 Kinsman Road, Cleveland, Ohio from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, beginning Wednesday, August 9, and can also be viewed on the CMHA website at www.cmha.net.
Comments can be submitted prior to, but are welcome at the Public Hearing to be conducted by the CMHA Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, September 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the CMHA Board Room located at 8120 Kinsman Road, Cleveland, Ohio. The public is invited.
