Copies of specifications of RFPs may be obtained from the Purchasing Department of CMHA located at 8120 Kinsman Road, 3rd Floor, Cleveland, Ohio 44104, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., beginning on dates identified in the specified proposals. CMHA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received and waive any informality in the proposals received. Proposals may not be withdrawn without the written consent of CMHA for 120 days from the date of the receipt of the proposal. CMHA is a political subdivision of the State of Ohio, exempt from all taxes and has adopted and supports the Small Disadvantaged Business Program for Minority and Female Business Enterprise Participation, dated December, 1994.

5th and 7th Floor Renovations at Carl B. Stokes Social Services Mall

BID DUE DATE AND TIME: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5, 2017 AT 1 P.M.

 

The Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) shall receive bids for 5th and 7th Floor Renovations at Carl B. Stokes Social Services Mall. The construction estimate range for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. All bids shall be sealed and delivered to: CMHA Purchasing Department, Attention Ryan Longwill, Contract Administrator, 8120 Kinsman Road, Cleveland, Ohio, 44104, and arrive before the date and time shown above. Bids received after this date and time shall be returned unopened to the offeror. Specifications are on file in the Purchasing Department of CMHA, 8120 Kinsman Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44104 and may be obtained for a $75.00 non-refundable charge payable by check.  Cash and credit cards cannot be accepted. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held by the CMHA Purchasing Department, at the CMHA Administrative Campus located at 8120 Kinsman Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44104 on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at 9:30a.m. Each bid must be accompanied by a properly executed Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier’s Check on a solvent bank, made payable to the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority in an amount which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended. Payment for labor as it applies to this project(s) shall not be less than the minimum prevailing hourly wage rates as pre-determined by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor and set forth herein. CMHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and waive any informality in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of CMHA. Bids shall be firm and cannot be withdrawn for a period of 120 calendar days, subsequent to the opening of bids, without the consent of CMHA. CMHA is a Political Subdivision of the State of Ohio and is exempt from all taxes.
