Happy New Year! Welcome to the Winter 2020 Housing Choice Voucher Program News Update. As we start the year, I am sincerely thankful for your participation in and support of the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP).

In 2019, we had a successful Home for the Holidays event which served homeless veterans, implemented the Client Information Center, hosted a Meet and Greet for participants and landlords as well as facilitated 36 Landlord sessions and 108 Mover sessions. CMHA continues to create affordable housing opportunities and improve the quality of life for the communities we serve.

Home for the HolidaysCMHA, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development hosted a Home for the Holidays event, bringing several local agencies and property owners together to assist veterans in securing housing this holiday season. The initiative helps veterans in the search for a home, filling out the necessary paperwork and touring different properties.
