We are pleased to announce the promotion of Jeffrey Wade to the position of Chief of Staff/Special Counsel to the CEO at CMHA. Mr. Wade has served CMHA for approximately eight years in the Legal Department as an Associate General Counsel and as CMHA’s Risk Manager. In his new role, Mr. Wade will continue to focus his background on law and risk, but will also provide additional oversight and guidance with our Asset Management, Housing Choice Voucher and Property Maintenance Department operations. He will move CMHA’s mission and vision in serving the residents of Cuyahoga County to a higher standard as we continue to create safe, quality, affordable housing opportunities and improve the quality of life for the residents we serve. Digital Inclusion Efforts Continue at CMHA
CMHA has collaborated with the Cleveland Foundation, Cuyahoga County Public Library, Cleveland Public Library, PCs of People, Cuyahoga County, Huntington, Cleveland Housing Network and Mobile Beacon on an outstanding digital inclusion initiative to provide hotspots and devices to close the digital divide! CMHA supports the Providence House at the Deck the House 23rd Annual Benefit Auction for Every Child. The Providence House is Ohio’s first and one of the nation's longest operating crisis nurseries, which offer free, voluntary emergency shelter to children newborn through twelve years old, actively living in crisis situations which place them at risk of abuse or neglect.
